Yard Work: A Space for Men to Get Stronger—Inside and Out

When I started Yard Work, it wasn’t about adding another workout to the calendar. It was about filling a gap I kept seeing—and feeling—over and over again.

Men are struggling.

They’re stressed. Disconnected. Tired. Not just physically, but mentally. And many of them don’t feel like they have a place where they can work on themselves without pressure, without ego, and without pretending everything’s fine.

As a dad, business owner, and someone who cares deeply about helping people get stronger, I’ve felt this firsthand. Life gets heavy, responsibilities pile up, and somewhere along the line, a lot of guys stop prioritizing their health. They stop moving with purpose. They stop feeling strong. And for some—especially the ones who were once athletic or active—that decline feels overwhelming and frustrating.

Yard Work was born to change that.

So, What Is It?

Yard Work is a free, bi-weekly men’s-only workout that takes place outside, rain or shine. We do the kind of training that feels gritty and primal—sled pushes, sandbag carries, hill sprints, loaded walks, bodyweight circuits. It’s not about perfect reps or personal records. It’s about showing up, getting uncomfortable, and leaving better than you came.

It’s not a bootcamp. It’s not a bro fest. And it’s definitely not a place where you need to be in “good shape” to join.

It’s just real men, putting in real work, to get stronger—in their bodies, their minds, and their lives.

Why It Matters

Because men need community too.

We talk a lot (and rightfully so) about empowering women in fitness. But it’s important to say this too: men struggle.
We carry stress in silence. We push through burnout. We feel pressure to hold everything together—and we’re often not great at asking for help.

Yard Work is a place to move through that. To sweat through it. To connect with other men who get it.

You don’t need to talk about your problems. You don’t need to be vulnerable if you don’t want to. But what happens when a bunch of guys show up consistently, push themselves physically, and feel like they’re part of something bigger? Growth. Strength. Clarity. Purpose.

Who Is It For?

It’s for the guy who used to feel athletic but hasn’t trained in years.
The new dad who’s sleep-deprived and just trying to find his footing.
The entrepreneur juggling work and life.
The retiree who wants to stay sharp and capable.
The man who feels stuck and needs a push.

If you’re a man who wants to feel strong again—physically and mentally—you belong here.

Final Thought

This isn’t about getting shredded or chasing aesthetics. This is about building resilience.
Being the kind of man who’s strong for his family. Who can handle what life throws his way.
Who shows up—not just for workouts, but for his people.

Yard Work is a reminder that we’re all capable of more.
Sometimes we just need a little space—and a little sweat—to find our way back to it.

See you out there.
